Kathy Banks

Kathy Banks, Teacher Training Specialist for brightwheel has 35 years of early childhood education experience. She has held various positions, including teacher, director, multi-site director, Head Start director, CCR&R, and QRIS Director. She currently adjuncts at several colleges and universities and continues to support and inspire educators through training and practical strategies. Kathy has her Ed.D. in Early Childhood Education and is a nationally certified Family and Consumer Science Developmental Educator. Her experience and education make her a scholarly expert in child development and the realities and challenges of teaching and directing every day. 

Stacy Ransom

Stacy Ransom, Education Content Marketing & Community Manager, for brightwheel, was a licensed and 5-star rated in-home childcare provider and preschool educator for 18 years. She continues to support and inspire educators through training and practical strategies. Stacy holds a BA in Early Education so she understands child development as well as the realities and challenges of teaching every day. She is also a blogger at Share & Remember sharing years of Experience Curriculum in action.

Caitlin Hackett

Caitlin Hackett, a State Research Specialist for brightwheel with over 17 years in the field of early childhood, holds her BA and teaching license in Elementary Education. She has served as a former toddler teacher, center director, in-home child care owner, foster parent, and with the CCR&R in coaching, professional development, children services and leadership. She is a certified PITC (Program for Infant and Toddler Care) instructor and PAX Community Educator. Her passion is in child advocacy, specifically around high-quality child care and the promotion of available resources in the foster care system.

Heather Williams

Heather Williams, an Education Support Specialist for brightwheel, has worked in the field of early childhood for over 20 years and holds a Master’s in Education. She is a certified teacher, a former Professional Development Specialist for the CDA Council, and has spent years providing training and coaching for various Head Start programs. She is passionate about the importance of play for learning and loves to inspire creativity in both educators and children.
